Susanne F. Fincher, MA, LPC, ATR-BC, is a licensed professional counselor and a board certified art therapist. She has produced the books Creating Mandalas, The Mandala Workbook, and the popular series Coloring Mandalas 1, 2, and 3. Susanne offers workshops and supervision at her Plum Blossom Studio in Decatur, Georgia.

The mandala is a tool for your wellness and awareness, with its motion from centre to periphery and vice versa suggests a journey inside you and can help each one to enter into a new dimension of space-time marked by present.
The mandala is an invite to gain inner harmony and peace every day to approach every commitment and every activity focused and centred on you. It is a tool to live on "Here and Now" without dispersion of good energies in useless thoughts.
When you feel very hectic and entangled in activities is the time to make the effort to stop and take back your own present.
You need just five minutes a day, a few slow deep breaths and focus on the mandala of the month you can get your centre your energy and your lucid mind. And then go on...

During this consultation you are invited to create mandalas (circular drawings) and refine your skills for guiding clients’ exploration of mandalas as a form of self-discovery. Bring any and all of your questions, concerns, or curiosity about creating mandalas. This consultation provides an opportunity to re-visit and learn from your experiences using mandalas during supervision, with individuals, and with groups. You are especially encouraged to bring your own or client mandalas, and stories of successes, mistakes, and lessons learned from your clients about mandalas.
For Susanne’s present and former supervisees, this consultation provides four supervision hours toward the ATR and Georgia LPC credentials. Others can receive four CE hours (applied for through LPCA of GA).

This mandala was created during two Mandala workshops facilitated by Rev. Starr DiCiurcio. It is comprised of the individual peace mandalas of women of Buddhist, Christian and Jewish faiths.
The peace mandala is now on loan at
the Hospice Center in Schenectady, NY
where people can enjoy its energy.
